Martha Stewart is getting incredibly candid.
The 80-year-old entrepreneur did not hold anything back during an interview with Chelsea Handler on her podcast where they talked about her personal life, relationships, and friendships.
At one point during their juicy convo, Martha and Chelsea touched on Martha’s friends. It was then that Martha dropped a bombshell of a wish that sometimes crosses her mind.
It all began when Martha admitted:
“I had two mad crushes in the last month, which is really good for me.
But it turns out, you know, one of them is married to the mother of some friends of mine and I just – he’s so attractive.”
Chelsea then warned her:
“You know, you can’t be a home wrecker.”
To this, Martha replied that she has “never been a home wrecker” before lamenting:
“They’re all married to friends of mine or something like that.”
Chelsea responded:
Well, it’s very difficult because I think there are certain ages we go through where it’s very tempting because you wanna believe that, ‘Oh, maybe this relationship that they’re in is temporary.”
And this is when Martha bluntly declared:
“Or maybe they’ll die. I always think, oh gosh, couldn’t that person just die.
Not — not painfully. Just die. But it hasn’t worked out.”
