Joseph Quinn was moved to tears during the London Film & Comic Con over the weekend.

The 29-year-old Stranger Things star, who plays new fan favorite character Eddie Munson, was apparently treated poorly by the staff at the event. Fans are now revealing what went down, revealing that the actor was yelled at by the staff.

The attendees of Joseph’s meet and greet revealed that the signing was oversold by 400 tickets. Joseph was trying his best to accommodate each and every fan and dedicate time to them, but apparently the staff was not happy about that.

Fans present at the signing stated that some staff exhibited “outrageous behavior” as they attempted to get Joseph through the long queue quickly. One fan claimed:

“Staff fully yelled at him to shut the f*** up and to just sign and not to interact with fans bc they oversold and couldn’t get all people seen.”

Another alleged:

“[Joseph] did his best to make everyone feel they had a moment despite the staff not even stopping the queue to let him have some water.”

Following the claims regarding how the staff treated Joseph, fans took to social media to praise him for taking the time to interact with each attendee at the meet and greet.

The next day, many who were at the meet and greet also attended the Q&A event. One fan expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Joseph, and their message moved him to tears. A video posted on Twitter captured the moment. Here’s what the fan said to Joseph at the Q&A:

“I’m sure a lot of us have heard what happened yesterday, whether it’s true or not, about how you were treated. I won’t really comment on it, but I just wanted to say thank you from all of us.

We’re really grateful that you’re sharing your time. Thank you so much. Thank you for signing our things, for spending time with us, and for making our summer.”

They went on to emotionally tell Joseph:

“I think that we’ve all really connected with Eddie for one reason or another, whether we liked his music taste or that he is the outsider. Like you mentioned, I think all of us are part of Eddie. We’ve all traveled far because we all really connected with you as well.

You really made our weekend and you really make mine as well. You were just so nice to me and guide dog yesterday, and however you were treated yesterday, we are so grateful.

Thank you.”

As the fan shared their message, Joseph seems very touched by their words and was seen wiping away his tears.

You are amazing, Joseph!
