Doja Cat has got a whole new look.
The 26-year-old “Say So” entertainer underwent a major transformation live while on an Instagram Live session on Thursday (August 5), showing off a sans-hair look and sharing that she “never liked” having hair.
During the Instagram Live, she took a razor and proceeded to shave off her eyebrows. She did this right after she debuted her newly-shaved head. Doja declared:
‘I just can’t believe that it took me this long to be like, ‘Shave your f—-ing head.’”
She opened up in the video about how she never cared much for hair:
“I feel like I was never supposed to have hair anyway. I, like, don’t like having hair… I never like having hair. I cannot tell you one time, sine the beginning of my life, that I’ve ever been like, ‘This is cool.’ I just so not like to have hair.
I remember feeling so f—king exhausted with working out… and I’d be wearing wigs, and they’d be getting tacky. They’d re-tack because of the moisture, and then they’d start sliding and peeling off my head while I’m doing this incredibly strenuous thing. I’d be working out, but I couldn’t focus.”
Doja went on to explain her lack of love for hair further:
“It would slide off and then I’d put on a beanie on top of my wig, that’s on top of a wig cap, that’s on top of braids. I can’t believe that it took me this long… I don’t wear my hair out. You’ve seen me wear my natural hair out. I had like two eras where my hair would be out. I would straighten it.
It’s just a f—king nightmare, dude. I’m over it… what is the use of having hair if you’re not gonna f—king wear it out?”
