Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter Natasha Bure is clapping back at JoJo Siwa.
On Thursday (July 28), the 23-year-old aspiring actress took to social media to slam JoJo for her TikTok video that went viral in which she named Candace as the “rudest celebrity” she’s ever met.
Candace reached out to JoJo after her video went viral, and it was revealed that the “rude encounter” she referenced was when she was 11 and approached Candace for a photo at a premiere, a request that Candace turned down.
In an interview with Page Six, JoJo explained:
“[I had] a rough experience when I was little. I was 11, and I was a big, big fan, and I wanted to take a picture with her, and it wasn’t a good time for her.
I will say because I had a bad experience, that doesn’t mean that she is an awful human. I think it just was an inconvenient time for her, and little 11-year-old me was just so pumped up and so excited, but that doesn’t mean she’s the worst human ever.”
Now, Natasha is coming to her mom’s defense, writing these scathing words on her Instagram Stories:
“Respectfully, someone saying ‘no’ to taking photo with you is not a ‘rough experience.’ This generation is so sensitive and has no backbone.
There are bigger issues in this world than this. Grow up.”
